Louis Gaines:
He is the eldest son of Cecil and Gloria Gaines, being the more expressive and "wild" child of the family. He became a part of the Black Panther party and later campaigned for Tennessee's Democrat. He was incarcerated many times when young and rioted in the marches and freedom rides.

He is the director of "The Butler", he had a certain perspective to show through this film and has won wards for it.

She was the wife to Cecil, mother of Louis and Charlie, and maid in the White House. She endured the stay at home lifestyle and experienced the loneliness and pressure of being wife to Cecil, a respected butler to the president.
